“Train my mind”
Over the last few months i’ve found myself wanting to learn different forms of philosophies & religions just to observe what many other people’s foundation of living was & to apply bits and pieces to my own idea of why we exist. The main concept I gathered from my never-ending research is how powerful our thoughts are & how despite our circumstances, if we control our minds and train them to see the light in every darkness, we can move through anything life throws at us with ease. I’d say this song related to stoicism in the way where it takes self discipline to do this, as well as tending to our mind like it’s a garden.
“0000” album
This album is like the more developed version of the “Psilocybin - EP”. It topic jumps from questioning where you’re going, grieving the loss of someone close to you, navigating new relationships, growing up a little more in every way, and asking about why we even exist and what even is the purpose of living? This is 10 songs packed with unanswered questions.

“thank you”
Written to dedicate to whoever hurt or betrayed you ! “Thank you for the way you lost me- now you’re never in my way!” About taking that situation & making it a positive experience to grow & learn from.
“donde fui”
A song written in spanish & english about not knowing where you’re going or where you are or why we exist or where we go after here & just overall just grieving & growing. wrote October 10, 2023: RIP my tio andre.
“Been gone”
If you’ve ever been in a relationship w/ someone you truly didn’t fully know and as time went by you realized you really don’t like this person for who they are- you would have BEEN gone if you knew … this song is for you lol (also my favorite cover art so far lmaoo)
“Liberation” album
A 16 track album that encapsulates what it feels like 2 be human, to fuck up, to fall in love, to overwork yourself, to get hurt, etc. Throughout Katana’s songwriting in this tape, she keeps it as authentic as possible through her lyricism, melodies, and most importantly her own life experiences. 100% lyrically written by herself with the exception of “Angel’s Interlude” which is a poem wrote by her best friend (@rockerfooo on IG).
“Let you go”
If you’ve ever had to let something or someone go to better your own life, this song will resonate well with you. The lyrics acknowledge the pain of releasing what isn’t for you, and replacing the now missing piece in your heart with self-love. It perfectly encapsulates the feeling of “moving on”.
“In due time”
My old/favorite jobs was at 2 dispensaries in Compton and East LA, & I remember picking up longgg shifts to stack my money to pay my bills while pursuing music as a career. While debating pursuing music full time & really pushing myself to take that risk, I wrote this song in the midst of the hustle. “I’m learning letting go of everything out my control, in due time i’m out this hole”. (somebody said it sounded like the lyrics were- “out this hoe” … i like that better lmaoooo

“Psilocybin - EP”
This is my latest tape dropped in June 2022. I dedicated these songs to my shroom/trip experiences during the last year. If you ever wanted to know how it feels to be on shrooms or want to hear a different psychedelic sound of RnB, take a listen!
“Smile now, heal later”
This is a very personal lil tape of mine. There are songs about grief on here, about falling out of love, songs that cover specific topics n specific issues & it has some upbeat songs 2 that help balance the sound! Completely written by me (like all my music) and engineered/produced by Samuel Ivy :) I hope this reaches the ears of the people who need it.
“2020 Venting session”
Another personal tape with every vibe you can think of lmaooo: there’s spanglish & portugenglish songs as well as songs that reflect on everyday life problems. Songs 2 scream when your in the car wanting 2 drive into a wall, songs that make you wanna cheat on who you’re with 😂, songs 2 play if you’re in love, etc! damn near however you feel there’s at least 1 song on here you can relate 2. I wrote these from 18-19 years old hahahaha.
“2019-2020 files”
My rookie album- my first piece of work don’t even stream this tbh lmfaooooooo some are lowkey bangers some are just… no…. hahahahahaha
